SYMPTOMS
When calling GET_LU_STATUS to determine the status of a particular APPC LU (when Sync Point conversations are being used), the call never returns.
CAUSE
The APPC library was not properly processing the response from the SNA Server, causing the GET_LU_STATUS call to fail to return.
RESOLUTION
The WAPPC32.DLL file has been updated to correct this problem.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in SNA Server, version 3.0. This problem was corrected in the latest Microsoft SNA Server 3.0 U.S. Service Pack. For information on obtaining the service pack, query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
