Microsoft has supplied several tools with Windows 98 to ease Windows 98 deployment. The "Deploying Windows 98 Using Batch 98 and Infinst.exe" white paper describes several of the tools included with Windows 98 and provides examples of their use.


Windows 98 deployment is a large topic. This white paper does not cover all aspects of deployment, but instead describes some of the tools included in Windows 98 to make deployment easier. Note that this document does not provide extensive procedures for using these tools, but instead describes situations in which these tools are used to accomplish specific objectives.
