SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to update the Baseline Work or Baseline Cost in the right pane while you are in Task Usage view, they are not updated. Instead, the Budgeted Cost of Work Scheduled (BCWS) and the Schedule Variance (SV) are updated.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem and update the Baseline Work or the Baseline Cost of a task, use the Baseline Table. To do this,
- On the View menu, point to Table, and then click More Tables.
- In the More Tables dialog box, click Baseline, and then click Apply.
You can now update the Baseline Cost or Baseline Work values for a task.
