There is no way to programmatically "sign" or "seal" a mail message using Microsoft Outlook 97 or any Microsoft messaging programming interfaces.
Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) mail messages have two properties, Encrypted and Signed, but you cannot access these properties using MAPI, Active Messaging, or Outlook object models.
This functionality is not a feature of Outlook's object model or the MAPI.Session object, which is available to facilitate MAPI messaging programming.
