SUMMARY
In Microsoft Excel, when you create a chart that contains data in hidden rows or columns, the hidden data may not be plotted in the chart.
This is by design in Microsoft Excel versions 5.0 and 7.0.
MORE INFORMATION
To view hidden data in charts, clear the "Plot Visible Cells Only" check box on the Chart tab in the Options dialog box (on the Tools menu, click Options). This check box is selected by default.
To clear the "Plot Visible Cells Only" check box, do the following:
- Activate the chart or select the chart sheet.
- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- Select the Chart tab.
- Clear the "Plot Visible Cell Only" check box.
- Click OK.
