SUMMARY

In Microsoft Project, some menu commands are displayed only when you press and hold the SHIFT and select a menu.

The following table shows the commands that will become available when you hold down the SHIFT and select certain menus.

Press the SHIFT key and select this menu To access the these commands —————————————————————–

File Close All (Closes all open files.)

Edit Copy Picture (Copies an image of the screen to the clipboard.)

              Unlink Tasks
              (Unlinks selected tasks.)

Format Remove All Page Breaks (Removes all of the user-defined page breaks from the project.)

Options Calculate Project <n> (where n is the current project. Recalculate the current project.)

In addition, when you hold down the SHIFT key and select the View menu, you can switch between a dual and single-pane view and when you hold down the SHIFT key and choose the Filter menu, you can switch between a highlight or non-highlight filter.
