  1. Q. How do I remove Works 2.0 from my system?

    A. Works 2.0 does not provide an Uninstall feature. If you want to remove Works 2.0 from your hard disk, use the following three-step procedure:

    1. Copy your personal files to a temporary directory.

    2. Delete the Works 2.0 directory and any subdirectories under it.

    3. Delete the MSWORKS.INI file located in the Windows directory.

  2. Q. How do I remove Works 3.0 from my system?

    A. Works 3.0 provides an Uninstall feature. To remove Works 3.0 from your hard disk, use the following two-step procedure:

    1. Double-click the Microsoft Works Setup icon in the Microsoft Works for Windows group in Program Manager.

    2. Choose the Remove All button.

    This removes all the components of Works 3.0.

  3. Q. How do I change the registration name and company information in Works 2.0 or 3.0?

    A. Works hardcodes the user name and company information on the Works Disk #1. To change the information, you must order a new set of disks.

      User Sales at (800) 426-9400. If you are outside the United
      States, contact the Microsoft subsidiary for your area. To locate
      your subsidiary, call Microsoft International Customer Service at
      (425) 936-8661.
