ACC1x: TransferSpreadsheet Causes Error -1310
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Access versions 1.0, 1.1
When you are importing or exporting to Microsoft Excel using the TransferSpreadsheet macro action, the following error is generated:
Reserved error (-1310); there is no message for this error.
When the table name is left blank in the TransferSpreadsheet Action, Microsoft Access cannot determine the table to export.
To correct this, include a valid table or query that you want to import or export in the "Table Name" argument.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Access versions 1.0 and 1.1. This problem no longer occurs in Microsoft Access version 2.0.
Steps to Reproduce Problem

ExcelExport Actions ------------------- TransferSpreadsheet Transfer Type: Export Spreadsheet Type: Microsoft Excel Table Name: (leave blank) File Name: C:\ACCESS\TEST.XLS Has Field Names: Yes Range: (leave blank)
- Run the Macro ExcelExport.
