PRB: @@error Not Set After Overflow or Divide-by-Zero Error


The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Windows NT Workstation versions 3.1, 3.5, 3.51, 3.51 SP2, 3.51 SP5, 4.0, 4.0 SP6, 4.0 SP6a, 4.0 SP4

The global variable @@error is not set after a divide-by-zero or aritmetic overflow error. This is independent of ARITHABORT and ARITHIGNORE settings.
