Mac Works: Values Not Shown But Seen in Formula Bar
PSS ID Number: Q104812 Article last modified on 10-22-1998
The information in this article applies to:
- == Microsoft Works for the Macintosh, version 3.0 and 4.0 ==
Several factors can cause a number not to appear in a Microsoft Works spreadsheet cell, even though it still shows in the formula bar when that cell is selected. Check for the following:
The column width is too small.
Usually this results in “##” showing in the cell; however, when the column is too narrow for the # sign, nothing shows. You must enlarge the column width to accommodate the number in the cell.
The cell is formatted for white text.
