PRB: "Setup Not Saved" Error When Trying to Save Printer Setup
The information in this article applies to:
A wait window is displayed with the message "Setup Not Saved" when you choose OK after selecting a printer and giving it a name in the Printer Driver Setup screen.
This behavior occurs when the FOXUSER.DBF and FOXUSER.FPT files are marked as read-only, the FOXUSER.DBF file is corrupt, GENPD.APP is corrupt, or other FoxPro program files are corrupt.
To correct this problem, do the following:
1. Make sure the FOXUSER.DBF and FOXUSER.FPT files are not marked as
2. Make sure that the FOXUSER resource file is correct. Close FoxPro,
rename the FOXUSER.DBF file, and restart FoxPro to build a new FOXUSER resource file.
3. Rebuild the GENPD.APP file. 4. If the error still persists, reinstall FoxPro.
