Versions of the Logitech ScanMan software earlier than 2.2 do not support the default TWAIN protocol. MORE INFORMATION ================ To insert an image you have scanned using a version of the ScanMan 256 software earlier than 2.2, you must first save the file in a supported graphic format, and then insert it by choosing Import Picture from the Publisher File menu.
