ID: Q102733

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft FoxPro for Windows, versions 2.5 and 2.5a

If the command SET STATUS TIMEOUT TO 10 is issued, FoxPro is supposed to display a message in the Windows-style status bar for 10 seconds. However, the message is displayed indefinitely until another SET MESSAGE TO command is issued.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro versions 2.5 and 2.5a for Windows. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
