No Preview Available if File Is Saved with Preview Off

The information in this article applies to:

 - Microsoft Publisher version 2.0

Publisher 2.0 offers the option to save files with a preview image.
This allows you to see a preview of the first page of the publication.
You can choose whether or not to save the file with a preview image.
By default, Publisher 2.0 saves files with this option activated.

However, you can turn this option off. If you do so, that file, and
all subsequent files, will be saved without a preview image. (If you
later decide to enable this option again, you can reactivate it.)

Steps to Add a Preview Image to an Existing File

1. Open the file that has no preview image.

2. From the File menu, choose Save As.

3. Select Save Preview.

4. Choose OK.

5. When asked if you want to replace the file, select Yes. The file
is now saved with a preview image.

Note: Now that the file has been saved with a preview image, all
subsequent files will also be saved with preview images.

Steps to Remove the Preview Image

1. From the File menu, choose Save As.

2. Clear the Save Preview check box.

3. Choose OK.
