SYMPTOMS

If you edit an embedded object, you cannot reverse the changes you
have made. The Undo command is unavailable (dimmed).

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Publisher versions
2.0, 2.0a and 3.0. We are researching this problem and will post new
information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
