Summary:

When you are in Notes view, it is possible to insert, copy, and paste objects, text, and graphics into the slide body. The items will appear in the notes pages, but they will not appear in the slide when you switch to Slide view. The items will print when you choose Print from the File menu, and select Notes Pages from the Print list box, but will not print when Slides is selected.

Graphics, objects, and text should be copied, pasted, inserted into the slide when you are in Slide or Slide Master view.
