Excel: Can't Use FALSE in Rows_array in CROSSTAB.CREATE

Last reviewed: September 12, 1996
Article ID: Q100411

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Excel for Windows, versions 4.0, 4.0a
  • Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh, version 4.0

SUMMARY

The sample data on page 82 of the "Function Reference," version 4.0, contains an incorrect example for the rows_array argument in the CROSSTAB.CREATE() function.

The cells C3 and D3 in the example, representing From and To for the Product field, should contain AUTO instead of FALSE. If you use FALSE in the array for this argument, you will receive the macro error "Invalid Arguments."
