My Operating System Triangle (I hope to make)

I'm hoping to start a Company & then make an Operating System & Games. Yes it looks crappy & yes it's not very good detailed. I just want to make this one day. Please don't post negative, flame or insult Posts.

With the economy the way it is that is going to be really hard. I work at a small computer shop and business was so slow that the head tech was told not come in.

Not flaming, honest to god not flaming, but that mockup is completely unusable. The buttons are way oversized, the triangle doesn't offer any insight into what it does, Switch Users is on the wrong side of the screen (it should be on the right with other adminy type tasks, if your sticking to the thought that the left is the menu and the open windows), the taskbar on the left is far too big which would minimize open window space.

It looks nice, GUI needs some work for ease of use, but otherwise, a nice concept picture, I like the logo you designed for your OS. What lang are you going to program it in?

Come on Eddie! I wanted to do something like this in Third Grade, Corpse is allowed to have dreams too.

You know I may think a guy has bad sense in clothing but I'm not going to go up to him and say "your shirt is ugly".

mbl: The only operating system he could base it off of, is Linux. Windows, if he based off of, would be illegal, and Microsoft could beat his ass.

It can already run Firefox 3 - Although It does you very little good as ROS has poor net support at the minute.)

You could write your own OS... but if your paint skills reflect your coding skills...
You need like 2 years at the university...
Or you could steal MinuetOS code-> but that still involves some programing knowledge...

I had this thought once to! (Making an OS)

Here is a great tutorial and sample kernel I found when I was researching. It's text only, so if you find this difficult, writing a GUI is alot harder.
