One of my favorites would be Cast Away... others were good too, but I can't really remember any as of now...

Audition (Japanese) and Tim Burton's Corpse Bride... there's probably a bunch more I've said "wow, greatest movie evar!" about, but those are the two that stick out for me.


Edit: Oh, and maybe Pirates Of Silicon Valley... I tend to exclude techy films when I think about this stuff.

American Beauty (1999).

It's kinda weird that a film I analysed for school is my favourite film, but it's actually a very good film.
