JD: It's a new server OS built around being used by n00bs. Its onus is on usability, and its based off Windows 2003. Paul Thurrot seems to be the only potential buyer

Just because its that big on your monitor doesn't mean someone else has a nice high res screen to display it on . At my work we have massive printers that could print them too - But what for as you said is beyond me. Possibly Microsoft wants to use them on banners for ads?
So to clarify, is this a full blown OS, or a different Version of Vista (ie: Windows Vista Sever Edition)
I would think about getting it, mainly because using Server 2003 just for a simple file, print, and FTP server is a hassle (more so in my opinion that using it for full scale DNS, DHCP services
