Finally... it's at Mininova with the number 2424871. The torrent currently has 2 seeders and over 600 leechers!
EDIT: In the last two minutes it has gone up to over 700 leechers!

You can't upgrade from x86 to x64, it would have to be a clean install.

I've heard that x64 is being uploaded as we speak.

I think that 7070 will be the RC as well, but I think that 7100 or 7150 will be the RTM

if it took them only 7 builds to go from RC to RTM, it would probably set some sort of record for MS, or be another Vista, seeing as there would still be many bugs in those 7 precious builds.
w00tz for this though... i just spent the past 4 days downloading 7056 and now this... *sigh* any new improvements over the last one?
any keys?

"upgrade" was used rather loosely..

the point was u can still install it it WONT be any different
besides that..noone needs more then 4 gigs of ram
not even PS users not even gamers

pints to ure sig ure only using abut 2 gigs of of ure 8 gigs..
more like 7.5 gigs..ram makers fudge the numbers just like
hardrive makers

64 bit is actually rather useless
when even programs for 64 bit can only address 4 gigs of ram

i dnt see why ppl want 64 bit so badly..
we haven't even come close to populating 3 gigs of ram
although vista did a damn nice job of trying to make that happen
and its gonna be agilest 5 years before we fill 1.5 TB of space..

till then ill stick with 32 bit data center with /PAE enabled..128 gigs of ram

lol, nice. I agree that I haven't come close to using my 8GB of RAM, but after years and years of not being able to afford a decent rig, I built this one, and wanted to make sure it wouldn't be completely obsolete by next summer.

Also, win7vista is saying they have the x64 version, but you have to be a VIP (i.e. paid ) member to download it.

nice..i must say if i had the cash i would have a skurial system

and that sux lol..

and abut ure thought about 7100 being the RTM..

RC means as long as there arnt any show stoppers then this will be the retail version..
thay wanna git it off to OEM's before summers over

so i think we will have finial by the end of July
plunty of time to git public feedback from the RC
and jump 7 builds..it shouldn't take more then 7 builds
to git to RTM thay shouldn't even need all 7 builds

but just like win 98's build number was 1998
im very sure MS will go for lucky triple 7...im 99% sure/confident in that..
bc this is MS we are talking abut after all LOL

I hate to wreck the mood, but it is REALLY hard to follow what you are saying when you spell lik ths... Please use some sort of proper non-abbreviated English ( i think the rules mention something like that)

How long do you think 32-bit will last? Because Windows 7 will be the last version of Windows with the x86 architecture, and there are more and more PCs on the market with 64-bit Windows. Also, 64-bit is not only faster and supports more memory, it also...
mrpijey wrote:The 64bit platform sure has other advantages as well (address registers, improved multimedia extensions, better memory paging etc)

But...
mrpijey wrote:but it will take some time before 64bit really makes a difference.
That's true, but it some cases the switch has already been made. Windows Server 2008 R2 is x64 only, and like I said before there are more and more PCs out in the market that have x64 Windows.

BTW, 7068 x64 is out in the wild now. The seeder has some fat pipes apparently, cause I'm pulling down over 500K consistently.

The choice of new sound schemes is a welcome addition.

it is a rule and warnings will be issued and posts deleted if you dont structure your sentences and grammar properly. everyone else can manage it, so can you!
