Hey, the 1.x releases are really intresting, ive already upped some screenshots
on my website if somebody is intrested:
http://os-history.de/betas/1xbeta.html
the toastytech screens are on another build, sadly... but whatever, the DR5 has
the graph.exe and the chart.exe anywaysnd they work (demo only so no
enterable information as it seems), but i think everybody here will love it
anyways
also visit http://microsoftwindowscollectionbook.com/, i think he will offer
some good things about that in some days

Nope, it wont work in VPC07. Over the last days i tied like a billion emulators to get it working,Bender wrote:Stupid question, but will this work in VPC2007?
the BETA runs best on Bochs and the ALPHA and the DR5 run only on PCem (you have to emulate
a IBM machine for that).
Since you have to configure PCem and have to get
some ROM files for it, here are some pre-installed versions of the 2 alphas: link
Just extract everything and open the PCem.exe
How to start the DR5: type path C:\windows\bin then go to C:\windows\test and run mswin
How to start the alpha: go to C:\windows\test and run win

Just take a look at the post I made abovemarktuson wrote:Shame it (Devel#5) won't work in VPC, it would have been nice if it could. Do we know why? Is there not anything that can be fixed?
And, do we know if it would work on real hardware?

It says that it's missing OpenAL32.dll... what should I do?Daniel wrote:Nope, it wont work in VPC07. Over the last days i tied like a billion emulators to get it working,Bender wrote:Stupid question, but will this work in VPC2007?

If you download my installers from my website.
It install the following (each one)
- Windows DR5 or Alpha (depends wich you download)
- The PCem program including source and roms
- OpenAL32.dll fix
CAUTION! When uninstalling, its removes ALL THREE items (including the OpenAL32.dll), so if you installed both, and remove only 1 then you need to manually reinstall the OpenAL32.dll with the Openinstaller package from the creative website, or reinstall my application.
