Cannot connect to FTP Server to upload

Status:	Verbindung hergestellt, warte auf Willkommensnachricht...
Fehler:	Zeitüberschreitung der Verbindung nach 20 Sekunden Inaktivität

Basically it connects, then timeouts ..
Any ideas?
