0x0000008E longhorn BSOD?

Post by chrisjose1913 »

Hello, So i am trying to install Longhorn Build 4074 on Real hardware. I have tried several different systems form a period ranging from 2005/2008. I am getting the same BSOD every time. I am using a stock version downloaded off the FTP. are here any other versions of this same build that have been improved upon with better HW support, but have not been massively altered? VM does not fit my requirements here so i am only after real hardware solutions if any exist ?

Have you tried memtest86+ to see if it could possibly be faulty RAM? Have you tried swapping them out? Also, If you have it, try a Pentium 4 with a gig of RAM, then step it up until it caves.

Let me know if it persists.
