MS-DOS 2.11 (1985-01) (Siemens PC-D OEM)

Post by angrylion2008 »

Did anybody get this BIOS Revision 2.11 Release working in MAME?
Selecting V3 GS or V2 GS won't allow me to boot the image.
And booting into the BIOS Revision 4.27 (Graphics BIOS), loading into the DOS prompt, ejecting the image, putting the 1985-01 Version in the first floppy drive, using the HDINIT Program, after restart doing the same with the floppies (switch back to the 1986-07 one putting the other one in second drive), using FDISK and FORMAT from B: Drive, copying the system and use SYS will leave me with an unbootable image.
I even used a MAME Version from 3 years ago.

For some extension, here a screenshot when I boot the 4.27 Revision, then switch to the 2.11 revision, then sys and copy everything to a blank disk image, and then boot it (same happens with prepared hard disk)

1. We can't be sure if the dos 2.11r2.11 disk is dumped fine.
2. The emulation is inaccurate in various way so it is expected to be not working.

Thanks then for telling me. At least the rest of the DOS Versions is working.
