4. Windows 95C
5. Windows Longhorn 4015 (served quite some time as my OS and now I've got it again)
6. Windows Longhorn 4074 (served quite some time as well. I had it as gaming machine on a LAN-party)
7. Windows 2000 (during the holidays one summer)

9. Windows for Workgroups 3.11 (it's on my mother's PC)

Tested:
Windows 1.04, 2.03, ME, Vista

Not so much, but I had these on emulators:
Windows 95
Windows 98
Windows 3.11
Windows NT4
Windows Vista Beta 1
MS-DOS 6.22 (from a bootdisk)
MS-DOS 7.10 (from a bootdisK)
PeepHole (mini Windows 3.11)

Tried to run on emulators, but failed:
Chicago build 81
Windows 1.x

Tested a bit only:
Windows 2000
maybe some others

Now REAL PC. Ones I installed:
Windows 98
Windows XP
Windows Vista Beta 1
Windows Vista final
...haha. All.

Tried to install, but failed (I didn't really want to use them that much anyway):
Windows 3.11
DOS

Hope to install on my real PC:
Windows NT4 (haha!)

1992-1994: Mac OS System Software 7.0.1
1994-2005: Windows 98 / Second Edition
2005-2008: Windows XP SP2 (current)

On my other computer:
Windows 95, 98, 2000 SP4
Currently: Windows Alphabetas Build 1408 (April 2008)
Since January 2005, I've been in the Operating Systems Prototype Community. I've enjoyed learning more these past four years about the development of the Windows and Macintosh operating systems, as well as learning of new user-based projects that optimize system performance.

Well, I have faint memories of using Windows 3.1 as a little kid. I remember getting a brand new PC (with Windows 95). I remember my older brother getting Windows 98 and me being dead jealous (still had 95). I eventually got 98 and then I moved onto ME (the horror). I upgraded to XP about one or two years after it came out and I used Vista for about a month, but didn't like it so I switched back.

In summary:
  • Windows 3.1
    Windows 95
    Windows 98
    Windows ME
    Windows XP
    Windows Vista

Serious (chronologically):
Windows 95 B
Windows 98 SE (Playing) and Windows NT 4 (Working)
Windows XP
Windows 2000 (2nd PC)
Windows Me (Laptop, designed for Win95...)

For Fun and "Half-Serious":
Windows Neptune (a friend of mine uses it as daily-OS)
Longhorn 4074 "2008" with some extensions from 5048 (2nd PC)
Whistler 24xx (i think was the last Whistler Beta before it was changed to "XP")
Windows Server 2003
Windows 95 C, NT 4 TS, NT 3.51, NT 5 1946 (all in VPC only)
Windows Vista (in VPC only)

That can't be true, since Memphis didn't even exist in 1994! It wasn't even planned until September 1995! And he was also referring to Windows 98 Second Edition, which didn't even go into beta testing until later in 1998 after the first version of Windows 98 was released, so I'm sure it was just a typo.

Okay, it was a typo (i think).
I see many typo's and not complete typed words here, but with typo's i can manage but those other forum types of typing, its annoying.

First OS i remeber using was windows 95, when i was like 5.
Then windows 98
Skipped 2000 and ME for some reason
Then XP
Beta tested different Longhorn/Vista releases for Microsoft, if they count
Then Vista RTM.

Have used others like 1.0, 3.1 and 2000.
