Internet Explorer is being discontinued tommorow

Post by Nguyen Thien Minh »

The end of an era.... Internet Explorer is retiring on 15th June 2022. Rest in peace...
I'd wish I got FTP access here, but I frickin' can't because of the UUP restriction and I'm a lot younger here! So do me a favor - Upload every OS on the FTP to the Internet Archive or something!

Not like it really changes anything when the last proper version of IE is almost 10 years old at this point.
AlphaBeta, stop brainwashing me immediately!

In fact it didn't affect anything, because IE didn't suddenly stop working on June 15th.
For companies embracing new technologies, they have or are running their Web Apps on new browsers based on Chromium, Webkit, Gecko, etc. that support more features and functions, for those still using outdated and IE-only web Apps Technology companies, they don't change anything.

Yeah, it doesn't really affect anything actually. Just another normal post...

As known IE is still actually being continued as Microsoft Edge; hence the first version of it was known as 12

Thus Microsoft wants IE users to shift to Edge ASAP

No, that was "classic" edge. The current edge is just another chrome browser.

Trident is gone. Except for some programs that used IE inside, but MS probably has a plan for those.

You mean the "IE mode" in Edge?

It sure is, but like what the post above this says there's an IE mode, through Microsoft maintains that also (RN there're no plans to remove it or anything)
