Fast boot in Neptune

Post by ActivateYourTech »

Hi,

So I installed Windows Neptune on a FAT partition and I enabled fast boot. After rebooting, the "Optimizing Boot" screen did not show up, and I can't shutdown anymore (unless I force shut it down) because it gives an error. Also, in the C:\WINNT\Boot folder, there is only 1 file. However, if I log off, and press control, an option which says "Completely shut down the computer", it will shut down.

How do I get fast boot working?

Thanks

Edit: In power options, I pressed on "Save application states on power off" I can now shut down

I don't like Windows 10/11. I like (best to 4th best): 7, 8.1, Vista, and XP.
Cars I like: Toyota Corolla, Hyundai Aura, Tata Tiago, Suzuki Dzire, and Suzuki Ciaz
New Zealand should win the T20 wc this year! (sad after 2019...)
