Windows 95 M4 Warning Program

Post by Atae »

Back in August 2021, I was doing the "Upgrate from Windows 1.01 to Windows 10 with beta builds", I've copied some files from the OS, such as Explorer/cabinet, and the wallpaper.

Back when I was at the stage of the 58s build of WIndows 95, I've copied another file: WARNING.EXE because why not execute iton Windows 10 just for fun.

This morning, as I was bored, I've gone into the propreties of WARNING.EXE dans the product version was not 4.00.58s. It was 4.00.58k. :OD

I can't upload the image because I can't due to I have aproved post.

If someone wants do get the image, I'll will upload the image when I can.

Thank you for the responce.

This means we exposed a MICROSOFT CONFIDENTIAL build.
I LOVE Windows Whistler Build 2419!
And Windows XP RTM! :D

Technically, but this build (if he exists) is unleaked and I've checked on the BetaWiki. The build is unlisted. That's weird.

By the way : here's the picture that I couln't upload.

That's just a file version. Doesn't mean the build actually exists.
Is AlphaBeta really brainwashing us though? *hehe*

A build version being mentioned in a file doesn't necessarily mean the build itself was compiled.

I know, but I'm just curious. But if this build exists, is someone has notice that quirk?
