Hello,
I have been interested in Windows Polaris for a while, however I do not know if I can get it on VMware (or any thing like vmware)
Can I install Windows Polaris on a non-phone device?
Thanks

I don't like Windows 10/11. I like (best to 4th best): 7, 8.1, Vista, and XP.
Cars I like: Toyota Corolla, Hyundai Aura, Tata Tiago, Suzuki Dzire, and Suzuki Ciaz

Polaris is only an ARM system. You can't get working it with classic softwares like VMware.

Couldn’t you run it in something like QEMU?Joet BERNARD wrote: ↑Fri Oct 08, 2021 7:25 pmPolaris is only an ARM system. You can't get working it with classic softwares like VMware.

Maybe, I haven't try. I just read the BetaWiki article about the only available build of Polaris

Re: Windows Polaris?
I also read the BetaWiki page. The build is ARM32, I have an x64 processer. (i7 4th gen) Can I run arm32 on x64? Also, it says that barely anything is doable. How did they get that image of the desktop then (No, it is not from the fake build.)? Also can't I apply the image?Joet BERNARD wrote: ↑Fri Oct 08, 2021 10:38 pmMaybe, I haven't try. Re: Windows Polaris?
You maybe can run it on QEMU by following this guide: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/134 ... windows-rt (P.S. It will be very slow even on Intel Core i7)ActivateYourTech wrote: ↑Mon Dec 06, 2021 1:43 pmI also read the BetaWiki page. The build is ARM32, I have an x64 processer. If you're talking about the images on this page, then I would say it's very obvious how they got the images.

https://betawiki.net/wiki/Windows_Pola ... _shell.png
I mean this
It looks like it has been taken from a camera.
Do we have the composable shell?
Edit: Nevermind, found out.
But, can we make it bootable? What if we make something for it?
