The thing is like this, I use qemu-system-mips64el to run a Windows NT MIPS operating system, but running IE 3.01 MIPS version (this is the only MIPS architecture IE browser I found), and running its installer (MSIE301.EXE) The following error occurred:

Or you can use a network enabled build of MAME.

This is in no way related to his issue, I was able to browse websites on IE3 on NT4 using qemu-system-mips64el without any issue.

The only versions of IE supported on NT 3.51 were the 16-bit Windows 3.1 versions.

If you have an "IE 3.01 MIPS version", then it requires NT 4.

Thanks for your reply, I have successfully run the 16-bit IE browser on Windows NT 3.51. After my test, IE 3.01 MIPS can only run on Windows NT 4, although I don’t know why.
