I'd rather get a new PC with Windows 11 preinstalled instead of trying to install this on older PC.

Strange, I had no problems Updating my Win10 laptop to Win11 when it came out, and that laptop only has a TPM 1.2
First it complained about no TPM at all (I forgot to enable it in BIOS). After a reboot and fixing that BIOS setting, I could click on "retry" on the Windows Update, and the upgrade went through without any problem
No need for fiddling with the registry or doing an offline-install with a hacked Win10 iso or anything...

What do they even use TPM for? In Windows 10 it is only needed if you happen to use Bitlocker.
Re: Here are steps How to install Windows 11 without TPM 2.0 on older pc
That’s because Windows 11 requires a TPM 1.2 at least, not 2.0 anymore.Darkstar wrote: ↑Wed Sep 01, 2021 12:21 pmStrange, I had no problems Updating my Win10 laptop to Win11 when it came out, and that laptop only has a TPM 1.2

RIP my 2010 laptop that worked until just a few hours ago. It was running Windows 11, no TPM, Secure Boot, or UEFI. It even had only 1GB ram! This was not my main laptop if you were wondering.
