Post by arcadianblue »

1.Download Windows 11 Insider preview beta version, Build 11 22000.71.
2.Restart your PC and try to install it normally.
3.If you are installing Windows 11 on an old or incompatible PC, you will get the message stating“This PC can’t run Windows 11”.
4.Press the Shift + F10 key to launch the CMD window.
5.Type “regedit” and hit Enter.
6.Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup.
7.Right-click on the Setup key and select New > Key.
8.Name it “LabConfig” and press enter.
9.Right-click on LabConfig and choose New > DWORD (32-bit) Value.
10.Name it BypassTPMCheck and modify the value from 0 to 1.
11.Similarly, create another DWORD, name it BypassSecureBootCheck and give it a value of 1.
12.Close both the registry and CMD window. In the installation window, You will now bypass Windows 11 secure boot and TPM 2.0 requirements.

I'd rather get a new PC with Windows 11 preinstalled instead of trying to install this on older PC.

Strange, I had no problems Updating my Win10 laptop to Win11 when it came out, and that laptop only has a TPM 1.2

First it complained about no TPM at all (I forgot to enable it in BIOS). After a reboot and fixing that BIOS setting, I could click on "retry" on the Windows Update, and the upgrade went through without any problem

No need for fiddling with the registry or doing an offline-install with a hacked Win10 iso or anything...
I upload stuff to archive.org from time to time. See here for everything that doesn't fit BA

What do they even use TPM for? In Windows 10 it is only needed if you happen to use Bitlocker.

That’s because Windows 11 requires a TPM 1.2 at least, not 2.0 anymore.

RIP my 2010 laptop that worked until just a few hours ago. It was running Windows 11, no TPM, Secure Boot, or UEFI. It even had only 1GB ram! This was not my main laptop if you were wondering.
Windows 10 should've been named Windows X

im still useing
21996.1.210529-1541.co_release_CLIENT_CONSUMER_x64FRE_en-us_forCleanInstall_WithOUT_TPM2.0Check.iso

have had no problems at all i even did a date check run my date at on year 2035 for 2 weeks ran like a charm.
had not exp date at all even still got a few updates on it.
i even still have it running on a old crappy unit and cpu is a 1.6ghz with 8gb ram and 4tb hdd

but i do say if you do use above iso i sugest you upgrade first then do clean install so then the bios will be activated.

yeh dont need to use cracks or hack it up or change anything to your bios
