[REQUEST] Excel help file for Port Royale 1 2003

Post by neighborbough »

There exists a file (or at least once existed) called krpratrg1.6.1.zip. As far as I can tell it existed in two places.

Here under the relevant download links:
https://web.archive.org/web/20031009115 ... /main.html
and here under the "Automatic Trade Route Generator" link:
https://web.archive.org/web/20050311183 ... uments.htm

However, these links are dead. I cannot access the zip file in either place.
There is a "preview" that shows data that would have lived in the excel sheet. While useful in and of itself for replicating the contents of the excel file, I still require the full zip file and original excel sheet as it contains VB code that generates a .prr route file for the game. This is ultimately the end goal. Information from the developer of how the .prr file was generated would be excellent help as well, unfortunately details are sparse.

I have scowered the different dates on Internet Archive for these links. I have tried https://web.archive.org/web/20070528093 ... hreads.php as well but I did not pick up as much German as I should have when I was around it...
https://web.archive.org/web/20090615205 ... hreads.php English forums did not result in anything interesting.
The only place I have found that still exists https://patriciero.mforos.com/ has some interesting information about reverse engineering certain aspects of PR2 but seemingly not much on the route .prr files. My Spanish is barely better than my German but I was able to pick up a bit more of that growing up.

Hoping an archiver/hoarder here may have the file, contact information for one of the original site owners, or any other leads or advice. Ty very much in advance.
