Windows 11 is (possibly) Sun Valley

Remember when Satya Nadella talked about the "next generation of Windows"? Well, they teased Windows 11 again in this Twitter post about their new event on June 24. It shows a video of a window.

Here are the two reasons why Windows 11 could be Sun Valley.

1. The window makes an "11" shape in the reflection on the ground.
2. The time they are revealing it is at 11 am.

The 11 AM time is actually not odd since that is when MS announcements usually happen (in eastern time).
The 11 formed by the window is odd. Notice that there is no horizontal line in the projection from the window when there should be.

Also there are several news articles about “windows 11”.

Yup! Most Microsoft events begin at 8AM Redmond time, which just happens to be 11AM Eastern.

What if they just call it Windows Sun Valley? Remember, that Microsoft said there won't be Windows 11, so quite likely Sun Valley is just going to be a major Windows 10 feature update.

I think Microsoft changed its mind about Windows 10 being the last.

Let's not take 2014 marketing as some kind of mantras, it was obvious they would go and release Windows 11 or whatever they call it as soon as they sense profit

Microsoft noticed Apple suddenly launched Mac OS 11, so they had to abandon their plan of "Windows 10 forever", jump on the 11 bandwagon and rename quickly *giggle*

I think that's the reason too why there was no Windows 9 … they couldn't endure having a system that is "one less" than Mac OS X.

With that info I think it is safe to say that Windows 11 is real! They wouldn't put an EOL date on Windows 10 if they didn't plan to replace it with a new version of Windows.

Hopefully they don't botch Windows 11 cuz I'm excited to finally get a new version of Windows.
