Windows Whistler Builds 2410 - 2419 Beta 2 or not?

Post by TKM1 »

So, a lot of discussion I've seen around the internet make me actually question the info I've learned.
Would Windows Whistler builds 2410 - 2419 be counted as Beta 1 or Beta 2?
I honestly think they would fall under beta 1 regardless of some of the branding within the builds themselves but that also begs the question on whether or not they are Beta 1 builds or Beta 2 builds. Technically beta 2 was build 2462 but can the build prior to it that are after the official beta 1 build be counted as Beta 2? I honestly can't tell.

First beta 2 build is 2410 and the last is 2462. "Beta 2" is a milestone, not just a single build.
As you said, it's usually about branding.

I figured as such. Though many people on line SAY it is beta 1. It honestly a bit confusing. Though I suppose that's the fun in it sometimes.

2296 was the official Beta 1 build, so anything after that obviously falls into the Beta 2 stage.
