Windows 7 Build 6730 Aero

Hi everyone, so I wanted to ask... how can I enable aero in Build 6730? I have VMWare 15.0 compatibility, and I installed VMWare Tools 8.3, but VMware still tells me that I should update the Tools to enable 3D Graphics. How can I fix this? Would manually editing the vmx file fix something? Thanks in advance.

DWM is unstable in this build. Correct me if I'm wrong, but maybe try to set the VMware hardware compatibility to a lower version like 8.x, or use VirtualBox?

I did put it to 6.5-7.x compatibility, but now with 3D Graphics enabled, it still doesn't work

EDIT: I changed compatibility and installed another version of the Tools and it works, thanks

Aero will not work on VirtualBox. Maybe try to install the version of VMware Tools 9.x?

Never had experienced that issue before, but thanks. 9.x compatibility will be fine.
