On 86Box, if an OS such as Windows NT 3.x running on a Socket 4/5/7 (Pentium) machine reboots, 86Box will crash and close. This does not happen if I click "hard reset" or if I use another machine such as i486. It also never happens in PCem.
Does anyone else get this issue? Is there a fix?
Thanks.

ANY NT OS crashes under those machines. It's a known bug. Even Windows 7.SupernovaNick wrote: ↑Thu Apr 01, 2021 4:44 pmOn 86Box, if an OS such as Windows NT 3.x running on a Socket 4/5/7 (Pentium) machine reboots, 86Box will crash and close. As for a fix, there's none. You need to manually restart 86box.

Currently it's some regression around the SMI or some cpu one, and yes, already known. Will be fixed someday.
