Setting up Cairo

Post by somerandompep »

I tried to install Cairo however I was stuck on this screen.
Image
When I click Next, it says "Unable to update local security in order to join domain".

Anyone has a clue of what's going on?

You've chosen Primary Domain Controller as the server role. Try to choose stand-alone server role.

During Setup, you can choose server type. You can choose either primary domain controller, backup domain controller, or stand-alone server.

Anyone can compile how to install Cairo? I do not see any option to select what type of server I would like to install.

There is no option to choose whether I want a primary, secondary DC or a standalone server.

When I click Next, it says "Unable to update local security in order to join domain".

Anyone has a clue of what's going on?
...I'm confused here. Is CAIRO the codename for NT 4.0/95 grey colored INTERFACE or is it NT4.0 or another OS itself?

IIRC Windows NT 4.0 codename is Shell Update Release, whereas Cairo was a cancelled project that would have fulfilled Bill Gates's "information at your fingertips" vision.
