Change Background in Windows 8 Beta Build 8161?

Is there any way to change the background in Windows 8 Build 8161?

I've tried all the normal ways such as through the personalization settings in control panel and right clicking on the picture and selecting set as desktop background but the background still won't change.

I think that you can't change background because of that.

I don't think that would make a difference in build 8161 since the timebomb is broken in that build.

The same thing happened to me but it was build 8140 (it keeps reverting to default background)

I don't think it's possible to activate any Windows 8 beta builds anymore.

Ah yes. It always throw an error that the "activation server has been blocked"

The activation server (where windows will be activated using the product key) has been blocked. Probably because Microsoft don't want to see their costumer still using outdated windows betas

However, some beta builds contain a broken timebomb. This means that they can be installed on the current date, without the timebomb activating at all. Some of these builds include builds 8140 through 8432 (fbl loc). However, if you do so, you won't be able to change the desktop wallpaper, unless you use a tool like DeskImg

I don't think it's possible to activate any Windows 8 beta builds anymore.

But I surprisedly found that 7963 and 8441's Pro SKU can be activated with some KMS Activators.What's more, 8250 & 8400 can be debombed.
