Windows Longhorn Boot Error

Post by Khan10 »

Hi there, I am trying to install Windows Longhorn Build 4051 in Virtualbox 6.1.14 and it gives the a BSOD while booting it with the following error:

A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage
to your computer.

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen,
restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow
these steps:

Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed
hard drives or hard drive controllers. Check your hard drive
to make sure it is properly configured and terminated.
Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then
restart your computer.

Technical information:

*** STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF789E610,0xc0000034,0x00000000,0x00000000)

My host specs are: Intel i5-10300H, Intel UHD Graphics, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650, 8GB RAM, 500GB SSD.
Does anyone know how to solve this?
Thanks

Ok, fixed it. Realized I should have set the Virtual Machine to Windows XP and not Window Vista. Thanks anyway.
