Windows ThinPC: Utilities for Subsystem for UNIX-based applications

Post by SkyeVega405 »

Hi there

In the start menu in Windows ThinPC (based on Windows Embedded Standard) there is an option entitled "Download Utilities for Subsystem for UNIX-based Applications". The microsoft hosted site for this has gone offline, so I wondered if anyone had the files and would be able to share them?

Thanks in advance

Have you checked web.archive.org? That's a good first place to check. If no files were archived there then look on archive.is as well. If its not on either then sorry.

I have tried the wayback machine and other web archive sites, the URL was not preserved.

All the SFU stuff is here on the BA FTP
I upload stuff to archive.org from time to time. See here for everything that doesn't fit BA

If you still can't find it maybe post the link that tries to open when you click on that start menu item.
Any additional detail you may have (filename, size, etc) would also help.

PS: @winins the link you provided seems invalid (contains a < character near the end of the URL)
