This is a more recent beta 1993-05-04 than the one on file. In it, MSD has been replaced by qconfig.exe. Looking through the help of SAW (SAW110.zip), that states that 'MSD was available to MS-DOS and IBMDOS 6.00'.

This is the 'supplement disk' for PCDOS 7.00. It has an INF file, or OS/2 help file doscmds.inf. This can be read under Windows with docview 1.4, or under 3.1 by xview (part of jaow.zip), or the dos7 view command. The files are straight copies from PC-DOS 6.30, and only comp.exe does not require version-action (setver or verhack).
The PC-DOS 6,30 i uploaded to betaarchive has the bulk of these files (except the .INF), reversioned for DOS 7.00.
Both files were found in larger grouping archives on archives.org.
Among the other salvaged was pcdos 6.30 variant of 1993.12.31 with the mouse-driver 8.20.

I have two pcdos 6.00 betas, one has MSD and dated 1993.04.02, the other is 93.05.04 and has qconfig.

The beta here https://archive.org/details/ibm-dos-6.0 ... 44-mb-beta is actually dated 1993-03-31 inside the diskettes, although the description is 1993-04-02. They appear to be the same set, since delsame deleted all of 0402 on the sorted same size/crc delete.
For what it's worth, I ran delsame (size/crc) against the three pc-dos 7 betas (after extracting the files). Once extracted from the diskettes, the difference between #2 and #3 (both dated 94-11-01, is one has copied command.com from 94-10-19, and the setup is a different size. There is a bigger gap between 94-10-19 and 94-11-01.
