I am trying to install Windows 2000 build 2000.3 in VMware Workstation 15.5. When I boot the VM, the first part of setup begins but when it reaches "Setup is starting Windows 2000", it restarts automatically.
Is there a way to fix this?

Hey Everyone!
I am trying to install Windows 2000 build 2000.3 in VMware Workstation 15.5. When I boot the VM, the first part of setup begins but when it reaches "Setup is starting Windows 2000", it restarts automatically.

very likely it's a Driver problem ...
it happened to me too ...
i deleted the sound card and it worked.
at the end of the installation you can add it
