Hi all,
We suffered a database crash last night after the virtual machine crashed. The virtual machine has been having issues over the past 2 weeks with lots of crashes and is getting rebuilt this weekend. However as a result of the crash we did have to restore the database from a backup, and some posts may have been lost overnight. At most this was anything posted between 3am and 7am GMT.
There will be a short downtime some time over the weekend when we switch servers and finalise configurations.
Andy

Somehow I managed to get to this site now and write a post. I hope that will improve and it will be active at next week.

Is the FTP affected? It looks like it went offline sometime around 8 this morning. I was uploading some large files, was not done yet, and when I try to connect now I get "530 Can't login : invalid home directory."
Re: Database crash - some posts may have been lost
Yes everything is affected. FTP will be back online this evening.

I noticed that the thread I created has gone. I'll have to repost it.
Re: Database crash - some posts may have been lost
Yes, apologies for that. We're looking at increasing the frequency of database backups so that data loss is less in the future.
