Stupid Question: Student License Software

Post by pseudoCK »

I couldn't find it in FAQs, nor various parts of the this site but this might result of reading the documentation which I skipped. Here goes.

In my college years, I bought some software at student discount which are now in abandonware status. The question is can I contribute some them here? I know there are some potential licensing issues. A simple yes or no will just do.

Thank you very much for your time.

Yes, you can, we could care less about how you obtained the software and how much you paid for it. :P

As long as it comes on a physical medium (i.e. floppy disks, CD/DVD/Blu-ray discs) and you follow the guide, it should be eligible for you to get FTP access.

It also must not have any custom OEM branding.
