Thanks for @Flyingharuka (@bestmmk) for biding this in Yahoo! Auctions.
This PC-98 OEM build of Windows NT 3.5 is different with the MSDN edition to the extent of some drivers and included programs.

It contains a CD-ROM and 4 boot floppies in both 3.5-inch and 5-inch PC-98 1.23MB 2HD format.
No PC-98 emulators could emulate this properly right now; I'll wait for @Flyingharuka to install it on a real PC-9821Xa and post the screenshots here.

We only have 300dpi scans, so this might not make its way into BetaArchive FTP but it might be useful to others here.

The installer can't find any hard drives under that, no matter using IDE or SCSI hard disk images or WINNTFIX set to true or false.

It's because of poor IDE support from the build itself or np21/w having some buggy IDE emulation.
Edit: Use DISK.SYS and CDHD_F.sys from NT 3.51 PC-98.

I'll try installing it on my PC-9821 V166 in about a week.
Note to all PC-98 owners: Don't even bother installing NT-based OSes on a CF card.
You will never get past INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE.

Hi,

I'm successfully install the windows , however if 256 color enabled, the graphics are garbaged.

Any ideas to run 256 color properly ? (already tried using 9821-xe built in)
