[Suggestion] Ignore option for sub-forums

Why can't users have an ignore list of forums, topics or posts? For example, I never play video games (since 15 years ago) and I dislike modern games. It is annoying to see unread topics in the Games sub-forum but Mark forums read will mark everything read.

It's not a feature in phpBB and extensions are not an option last I heard.

Changing to a different forum script would also not be feasible as its a pain to transfer over every single user credentials, forum topics, forum posts, images, private messages, the database and the image uploader tool feature.
