Thanks. But is there a link to a non-german version of 1796?

The uploader's name there is "German".
The actual release (which might be as well copied from BA) is in English.

How so? The downloads for Windows NT 5.0 over at WinWorld work perfectly fine for me.

That sometimes happens to me too, when I try to install Windows NT 5.0 builds in VirtualBox. You'd pretty much get a Guru Meditation crash when you use any NT 5 ISO, so that doesn't only apply to those ISOs on WinWorld.

You can actually get around Guru Meditation crashes in NT 5 by first installing Windows NT 4.0 in Vbox, and then upgrade to NT 5 from NT 4. That method worked for me without any hassle. :)

For this, I'd recommend VMWare, not VirtualBox. Also, this release is on the BA FTP, which you do have access to. Why are you requesting something that is already on the FTP?

Because when I first requested this I did not have FTP access but now I do.

Make your boot device accesible. Providing some more information about your config certainly wouldn't have hurt.
