Upgrade from Hyper-V Server 2012 to Windows Server 2012
Hi guys, I want to upgrade from Microsoft Windows Hyper-V Server 2012 R2 Build 9431 to Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Build 9431. Can I upgrade without Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Build 9431 ISO file ? And how ?

I'm asking this because I have not a FTP Access yet. Also I don't know any alternatives (includes All Windows Betas from 1985 to 2019). If I have FTP access or know alternative, Why I'm asking this ? I waited someone gives me tutorial.scatman wrote:pretty sure you would need the iso

Since it's not a license upgrade (like going from Standard to Datacenter or vice-versa) and it's a system change, you'll need the ISO.I have not a name wrote:I'm asking this because I have not a FTP Access yet. But, also, since you're switching from Hyper-V Server 2012 R2 to Windows Server 2012 R2, I'm not even sure it would let you upgrade from Hyper-V Server. You'll more than likely need to just re-install Windows Server fresh (plus, it would just be easier overall - trust me with Windows Server upgrades).

1-I don't have a Windows Server 2012 R2 Build 9431 ISO file. If I have I wouldn't open this topic.
2-I don't have FTP Access, My name's color is black, not red.
