I'm looking for any manuals that describe the IBM System 38 (S/38). It was the father of the AS/400, iSeries, and IBM i Systems.
It is, through its various incarnations, the most advanced OS ever made.
Thanks,
JB

Re: System 38
You can find few manuals here:
http://bitsavers.org/pdf/ibm/system38/
Also, the 8th chapter of Capability-Based Computer Systems is on IBM S/38
https://homes.cs.washington.edu/~levy/capabook/
I also found s38 auditors' manual on my hdd: https://www.dropbox.com/s/a4833m6neiq1n ... 9.pdf?dl=0
